SPARK Museum Brand Video

SPARK Museum wanted to draw in tourists from inside and outside of Whatcom County. Veritas was able to utilize a half day of production to capture interaction in their space, and create several videos displaying their exhibits, electric show, and the fun of discovery available in downtown Bellingham, WA. SPARK then utilized their new video assets as paid ads on Instagram, as well as posting on other channels.

Bellingham Cold Storage 75th Anniversary Celebration

Bellingham Cold Storage celebrated their 75th anniversary with a special day, highlighted by speeches from a variety of stakeholders and stories of community. The Veritas team captured the event for a full recap video and short social videos to share afterwards online.

Blue Water Scholarship Fund

The Blue Water Scholarship Fund is a great story of those with career success giving back to their industry and the people coming up behind them. But relatively few people knew about the scholarship.

Using on-location visuals paired with compelling interviews, Veritas created a brand video and additional social videos to communicate the passion of the founders and explain the scholarship both to potential recipients as well as those who might come on board as donors.

R.E.A.L Series with Whatcom Family Farmers

Whatcom Family Farmers is a local nonprofit advocacy group, dedicated to supporting our community's small, family-owned farms and promoting sustainable agriculture practices. Their REAL Series tells the stories of farmers going above and beyond, taking big steps to enact environmentally friendly practices. Each of these videos were shot in a half day on location—proof that it doesn't take a ton of time to shoot incredible content!

Here are a few examples of our work for this ongoing series:

Barron Heating – Staycation Sweepstakes Campaign

During lockdowns towards the beginning of the pandemic, Barron Heating was getting creative with its marketing goals. They started a campaign to promote the "Staycation Sweepstakes" — a series of sales and discounts for folks to make home improvements while they were spending so much time at home.

Veritas used existing, static ads and footage to create video assets to elevate the digital and broadcast campaign. Below are a few examples.

Creating Living Wage Careers (Shell + Bellingham Technical College)

Veritas Media partnered with Shell Puget Sound Refinery to tell the story of how their plant is aligning with Bellingham Technical College (BTC) to ready students for new careers and living wage jobs at the refinery.

This video features interviews on location at Shell PSR just outside of Anacortes, WA. as well as interviews with BTC faculty in Bellingham, WA.

We've produced a lot of different videos for refineries and other manufacturers, many of which are training videos that can't be shown publicly. If you're interested in learning more about creating PR, or internal videos for your refinery or manufacturing business, please reach out for more information.

WWU Give Day 2018

Hero video created by Veritas Media to promote Give Day 2018.
Thank you video that was sent out to everyone participating in the campaign.

Every year on June 1, the Western Washington University Foundation hosts a 24-hour Give Day event, encouraging parents, alumni and other supporters to donate to their favorite programs, departments or scholarships.

For their 2018 event, we had the opportunity to work with WWU and feature 3 students who, through their scholarships, have benefitted from past Give Day funding.

We produced 5 deliverables for this project: 3 short student spotlights, one primary Give Day feature, and a post-event “thank you” video. These videos were rolled out over several weeks in email blasts and over social media, ramping up to the big day.

Overall, the campaign, supported by our videos, was a huge success. WWU surpassed their $600,000 fundraising goal! Additionally, paid video ads & posts on Facebook saw 3x more traction than posts with just a static image—earning not only more impressions, but more Reactions, comments, and—most important—clicks through to the Give Day donation site.
