Our work
We empower clients to leverage video for marketing, training, HR, events, and more! Check out some of our most recent projects below.
2022 Light in the Night Gala
Lighthouse Mission wanted their 2022 fundraising gala to help attendees to experience the heart of what they do—connect with people and grow supportive relationships. The video solution was a set of three interview-based, storytelling pieces to be played throughout the evening.
These videos provided an introduction to the evening, a chance to celebrated the stories of several Lighthouse Mission guests, and a heartfelt call-to-action from Lighthouse Mission staff as well as CEO & President Hans Erchingler-Davis.
In the end, they exceeded their fundraising goals and the evening was a great success!

Blue Water Scholarship Fund
The Blue Water Scholarship Fund is a great story of those with career success giving back to their industry and the people coming up behind them. But relatively few people knew about the scholarship.
Using on-location visuals paired with compelling interviews, Veritas created a brand video and additional social videos to communicate the passion of the founders and explain the scholarship both to potential recipients as well as those who might come on board as donors.

Production for the project took Veritas all the way to Galveston, Texas.
Lydia Place 2022 Hearts for Housing Virtual Gala
In early 2022, Lydia Place partnered with Veritas Media to create a virtual fundraising event in lieu of an in-person gathering. Their spy-theme VIP event was premiered, allowing for an entirely pre-produced program, shot in our spacious, versatile studio with two-person chat style interviews and several direct-to-camera calls to action ahead.
This “like live” event launched through their chosen online platform on March 25, 2022 and helped Lydia Place raise over $220K to support and expand their services to homeless families in Whatcom County.
Inspire Higher Dreams Virtual Gala 2022
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County wanted a fun, engaging fundraiser, even if there was still uncertainty about in-person gatherings in early 2022. With the virtual hosting option provided by the Veritas studio space, organizers were able to engage both local and long-distance supporters with a night of "outdoor" adventure, utilizing out-and-about video captured by the Boys and Girls Club, as well as an outdoor-themed corner set. Even better, their virtual fundraiser exceeded their goal, successfully raising over $380,000!
The virtual fundraiser aired live on April 29, 2023, hosted on Bellingham Tonight's Youtube channel.
Rise and Shine Skagit 2022 Virtual Breakfast
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Skagit County brought us a unique challenge: to recreate an 80s-themed telethon for their annual breakfast fundraiser. The Veritas Media team walked them through creative planning and set design all the way to the final product, keeping within their vision and scope and taking full advantage of our versatile studio space. This event included live content from event hosts Ian Faley and Kristen Keltz; a re-created phone room in our corner set, and pre-produced content from the Boys & Girls Club played throughout the program as commercial breaks.
A great telethon always needs great props and an enthusiastic staff!
2022 Whatcom Business Awards
Since it was the Whatcom Business Alliance's first large, in-person event since 2019, organizers decided to spotlight nominees in several categories with video. Working with 8 different businesses and individuals over the process of several weeks, the Veritas team captured interviews in-studio and footage on-location throughout Whatcom County, allowing the event to showcase the history and heart of the individuals and businesses honored for 2022.
Business Person of the Year
Small Business of the Year
Lifetime Achievement
The Veritas team provided audio visual support for the evening ensuring a smooth and polished presentation experience for presenters, nominees and participants.
Barron Trade Stories
Barron Heating and Air Conditioning wanted help in recruitment. To engage those looking for work, Veritas created 5 employees bios, each showing one person's unique path into the trades—from early interest to career pivots, and illustrating how each found a satisfying career with the Barron team.
These stories were then combined into a short "Build Your Own Trade Story" 30-second Ad.
Barron Technician School
To help promote their new Barron Technician School, Barron Heating worked with Veritas to create this recruitment video. The Barron Technician School is a paid training program for folks looking to get into the trades. Apprentices are paid throughout the duration of the months-long program, and are guaranteed a job with Barron after graduation.
Production for this project spanned several months, capturing different lab activities as apprentice technicians went through the program. We then interviewed the lead instructor, program designer, and two program graduates.
Lydia Place 2021 Hearts for Housing Virtual Gala
For their largest fundraising event of the year, Lydia Place trusted Veritas Media to create a unique, engaging virtual experience. This event included live content with event hosts Emily O’Connor and Misha Collins; as well as pre-produced content shot in our spacious, versatile studio space. This event raised over $200k, welcomed attendees from over 50 countries, and has over 4k views.
This virtual event falls under our Live Premium tier, and includes several add-on options, such as the Premium Graphics package and pre-produced content created by Veritas.
Whatcom READS, “Washington Black”
Whatcom READS, an annual program by the Whatcom County Library System, approached us looking to create a video for their 13th annual selection of Washington Black by Esi Edugyan.
Their project had several messaging goals: promote the annual event, discuss the 2021 book and how it relates to society now, and encourage the audience to get involved. This video was shared on Whatcom READS channels as part of the READS Week virtual programming.
We interviewed 4 people in our studio for the project, and also created some minor animations featuring promotional illustrations by local artist Julie DeFoer.
Lighthouse Mission Ministries “Culture of Poverty”
Lighthouse Mission Ministries has a unique philosophy and approach to working with people experiencing homelessness. They were looking to ensure a consistent message was being delivered when training new staff & volunteers, and when presenting to stakeholders and other groups in the community. This training/educational video includes scripted delivery filmed in our studio, combined with custom animation & graphics.
Gage Commercial Real Estate
Gage wanted a video that introduced their team, showcased their work, and built trust for their brand. To create this Brand Video, we interviewed key staff and former clients, and captured B-roll & drone footage at several of their properties.
Samson Rope “Principles of Functional Design”
Samson Rope was looking to educate their audiences on the holistic approach they take when designing rope and rope products for their customers. We helped them script a very technical topic, and distill it down for anyone to better understand. The on-camera talent was filmed in our studio, and the project included custom graphics and re-purposed B-roll from previous projects.
MBT “Heart of the City” Support Video
In the wake of the pandemic, the Mount Baker Theatre had to close for over a year. With no income from shows, and memberships dwindling, the theatre faced the threat of permanent shutdown. We interviewed key staff and supporters to create this emotional piece to discuss what went on behind-the-scenes, and rouse excitement for reopening.
Skookum Kids Foster Stories
Since 2017, we've worked with Skookum Kids on their ongoing series, Foster Stories. Typically shot in a half day, we tell the story of someone who's experienced foster care: a family, volunteers, even kids. These stories share the realities of foster care, and showcase Skookum Kids as the incredible resource it is in our community!
Northwest Youth Services “Dine In To Make a Difference”
Working with Northwest Youth Services in 2020, their team challenged us all to reimagine the "virtual event" and what that could look like. Together, we created three episodes, collaborating with three different local restaurants. For each episode, "VIP" donors were gifted a boxes of ingredients and could cook along with the event hosts. This model made their virtual event feel closer to a hybrid, virtual/in-person experience.
