2025 Alumni Award Videos
The WWU Foundation takes time each year to celebrate distinguished alumni who are making a difference in their careers and communities. The 2025 Awardees were honored with short videos during the annual celebration event on April 16, 2025 at Western Washington University.
Lighthouse Mission | Brighter Today Gala
The Lighthouse Mission's annual fundraising event featured stories of life change and hope through video. This year, they wanted to provide an overview of their programing and show the new possibilities for residents that their recently completed building make possible.
A short testimonial was also captured, giving supporters and gala attendees a chance to see the impact they make through their support of the Mission's work.
The Mission's Brighter Today Gala was held on April 17, 2025 in Bellingham, WA, and is an annual event that helps supports their programing throughout the year.

Samson Rope | 16-Strand C1 Eye Splice
Samson Rope often harnesses the strength of how-to video for demonstration. Based on customer feedback, Samson created this video to walk customers through their 16-strand C1 eye splice technique as a supplement and aid to the written instructions provided on their website.

Bellingham Technical College | Intro Video
Bellingham Technical College was looking to create a video intro that could be combined with their general recruitment piece, since they often engage local high school seniors in schools.
This half-day shoot on location allowed BTC to highlight one of their working labs, and their Assistant Director of Student Diversity and bring a fun start to presentations.

What makes your product unique? Samson Rope's marketing team wanted to highlight their rope's strength—which is dependent, not just on one factor, but on many factors working together. They worked with Veritas to craft a marketing piece explaining their product's advantages in an engaging way and their vision was brought to reality through editing and animation.

This 15-sec campaign video highlighted endorsements for the 2023 Bellingham mayoral primary candidate Kim Lund.

In his brand video, Brad shares about his passion to do good work for his clients. The addition of client testimonials—from wide cross-section of his past clients—were able to illustrate and add strength to the storytelling of his brand video. They also work as additional standalone pieces themselves.

R.E.A.L. Series | Natural Pest Control
Whatcom Family Farmers tells the story of a falconer and farm partnership providing a natural solution to a persistent farming problem: starlings.
R.E.A.L (Real Environmental Action & Leadership) is a grant-based education series produced by Whatcom Family Farmers. Episodes highlight a variety of environmental work and sustainable practices of farms and farmers in Whatcom County.
Christian Health Care Center | Recruitment Bundle
Christian Health Care Center wanted increase the visibility of their hiring and benefits as an employer. Video gave the chance to make the appeal to prospective employees in authentic way that celebrated the culture and ethos of CHCC with a core message of opportunity.
We worked with CHCC to maximize a full day of production on location at their facility, and the final results included videos designed specifically for social as well as a longer company overview and culture to live on their website's career page.

Lydia Place Hearts for Housing 2023 | Impossible Choices
Created for Hearts for Housing 2022 this short animated piece and client testimonial show the emotional impact of the programs Lydia Place provides for families and individuals facing impossible choices.
The project combined animation with a real-life client testimonial to invite the audience to consider what the experience of homeless is like for families seeking assistance.
Whatcom Family Farmers | Floodplain Improvements
Whatcom Family Farmers wanted to highlighted how stakeholders can work together to solve the challenges of floodplain management.
This 3-part episodic series about projects along the Nooksack River, involved many locations throughout Whatcom County, multiple seasons, and a variety of video capture techniques (including timelapse!). Its final episode shifted focus following the major flooding events in Whatcom County in 2022. Whatcom Family Farmers harnessed socials to create interest around the series and bi-weekly release of each episode on their video platform.

Augusta Landscaping Summit 2023 | Event Recording
Augusta Lawn Care wanted a polished and smooth experience for their large industry-wide conference, where they provide workshops and speaking sessions on the business side of landscaping. With a number of speakers and panelists presenting over multiple days, Augusta chose to have Veritas provide audio/visual support as well as chose to capture different workshops in an event recording. This added 2 static cameras and stage lights to their setup, and required editing pass on their footage following the event.
